As I'm writing this today, I reflect on a quote I recently saw while scrolling through Instagram yesterday. It was on Mel Robbins' instagram and it was from an unknown author. I'll share it below...
Today marks the 25th anniversary of when my sister, Khrystle Marie Lopez went to heaven, she was only 13 years old. She had been diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme. Time went by too quickly...within 1 year from diagnosis, she was gone from our earthly world. From that time, my mom created a Foundation and a book in her honor to keep her memory alive and honor those children and families that she had shared her grief with. It's especially impactful when it happens to our small children...our future.
We created Limited Edition stickers, some of which were made based on my mother's paintings and obtained from the book she wrote. All proceeds for these stickers go to the Princess Khrystle and Prince Michael Foundation where their mission is to bring awareness and happiness to children and families throughout the world affected by this horrible disease.
